How To Consolidate Bills

The Bill Terminator

If there is one thing your creditors do not like its bill consolidation.  Why?  Because they make the money that pays the rent on their offices and salaries with the money you pay each month in interest.  There is no single greater source of income from a credit card company or lender than the interest you pay.  It’s what keeps them in business.  Well that and all those other charges they manage to tack on to your bill each month.  So the enemy to them is simple: bill consolidation. In a bill consolidation you end the cycle of paying off your debt little by little and paying into interest payments.  The bills are closed out.  The creditor gets their money they lent you, but not a penny more from you in interest payments.

Step One: In A Bill Consolidation

The first thing you need to do once you have decided to consolidate is to collect your bills.  Gather them all up and don’t leave anything includable out.  If you need advice on what can and cannot be included in a bill consolidation, consult with a credit counselor.  List your bills in a spreadsheet such as Microsoft Excel.  Include the amount owed and the creditors name and contact information.  Add this amount together to find the absolute total amount of money you owe.

Step Two: Look For The Money To Pay The Bills

It may sound odd, but the next step is to look for another bill for yourself.  This bill is the bill consolidation loan, or debt loan. Don’t worry, this bill is thee bill to end all other bills.  This consolidation loan amount will need to cover the amount you came up with in step one.  Check with your local bank, credit union, or a debt consolidation company to find the best interest rate on your new bill consolidation loan.
